[ He's fine, but it seems something's wrong. ]

I thought it might help calm you down some.

I know. It felt like it was one of those moments your lights would come up or the room would get warm or everything would calm down.

[ But it didn't, and that was weird. it's going to take getting used to, because in her mind, that's always been something she's connected with him. ]

[glorifies]

I'll have to figure out a different way to elicit that effect.

[ They don't have emotion magic here now, after all. ]

I'll get my violin. [ He'd get up, but... he's on her, so he'll wait. ]

[unhappy]

[ Good luck getting your violin. As if in response, both of Emerald's arms wrap around his waist. No leaving. ]

[glorifies]

[ She's not making this easy... But he won't fight it. This isn't bad, anyway.

He does slouch a little, though. ]

Can I lay on my back, too?

[unhappy]

[ .......Fine. She lets go and sits up so that he has room to lay down, then she'll resume her position. ]

[glorifies]

[ He has a green koala... He'll just hold her, then. Not much he can really do like this. ]

What do you want for dinner?

[unhappy]

Green pizza.

[ There's a good chance he doesn't even know what that is. It's not exactly a normal order. But it sounds good right now. ]

[glorifies]

[ She's right. He doesn't know. ]

How do I make it?

[unhappy]

You use pesto for the sauce, then mozzarella for cheese. Then anything else you put on it has to be green or white. Or you order it from a restaurant and have it delivered and eat whatever they give you.

[ Totally up to him. She moves herself so she can tuck under his chin. ]

If you put tofu on it, make sure you press it a lot so it doesnt make the pizza wet.

I don't know how to make pizza.

[ This is an issue. ]

Let's look for a restaurant later, then.

[unhappy]

You buy pizza dough from the store and put stuff on it.

[ Look she's not a chef just because she's figured out enough basic home cooking to enjoy it. ]

I'm not hungry now anyway.

[ But... She did just think of something. ]

I'll let you go get your violin.

[glorifies]

Ah, sure. It's just upstairs. I'll go get it.

[ He wants to play for her!! Once she's off him, he heads up to where his bed is. He keeps his violin in its case, in the closet next to his bed. He'll tune it first before coming down. ]

[unhappy]

[ She doesn't realize she has extra time for tuning so as soon as he's out of the room, she lightfootedly rushes to the design panel all the apartments have and does what she does best: messes with it.

But at least in this case, it's only to change the ceiling to show little glowing lights moving about it. It's not quite the same as Akashi's (she still thinks his are the best) but she thinks it meets the sentiment.

She also finally takes off her shoes, which she probably shouldn't have had on the couch, but what Akashi didn't notice (or call her out for) won't hurt him. Then she goes to sit down on the couch again and wait for him. ]

[glorifies]

[ The sounds of his violin slowly and accurately tuned fills the air. It's a small apartment, so sound travels fast. Fortunately for Emerald, the panel doesn't affect all the lights in the apartment, just the one in the living area. So when Akashi rushes downstairs, excited to play for her, he's greeted with a surprise. ]

Hm, it looks nice.

[unhappy]

[ She gives him a smile. ]

Even if you can't make lights anymore, we haven't lost anything. Sorry I was weird about it before.

[ It's probably a vague statement, but it's Emerald's way of saying that no matter what, they'll find a way for things to be how they should between the two of them. They can go to any different world and that'll be true. She straightens up where she's seated and folds her hands on her lap as if she's ready to watch. ]

[glorifies]

[ Before he begins playing, he wants to do something first. He walks back to the couch to touch Emerald's cheek. The look he gives her is fond. ]

No, we haven't, so long as we're together.

[ He doesn't say he loves her now, even though she probably wants to hear it, but he leans down to kiss her on the lips. A slow and sweet one that's just as romantic as the lights around them are. Akashi can't control them anymore, he'll always be there for Emerald no matter what. ]

[unhappy]

[ She 100% wants to hear it. But a kiss is also good. Very good. Emerald smiles into the kiss, sitting up a little straighter so she can lean into it, then pulling back. ]

We'll always be together.

[glorifies]

Always.

[ Akashi feels like he should do something for her. A grand gesture of sorts. Emerald always does things for him, but he's never truly swept her off her feet. He wants to give her an experience she'll never forget. Something that will make her feel an overwhelming amount of happiness... so that she'll never, ever forget what it means to be happy. ]

May I serenade you now?

[unhappy]

[ He may not consider himself having swept her off her feet, but Emerald feels like she's been caught in a river the last few months. But she's not going to complain if he really does something. She smiles and sits back against the couch, looking up at him. ]

I'm all ears.

[glorifies]

[ He takes a few steps back, careful not to bump into the coffee table. He then positions the violin by his chin and plays a couple of chords to test how it sounds. It's already tuned, but he wants to make sure how it still sounds okay. ]

I haven't played in a while.

[ But when he plays, it's totally to show off. ]

[unhappy]

[ Emerald isn't super cultured or well-educated in the arts, so he could've played just about anything and she would've been impressed. But as she listens to the song, it's more his gestures and movements, his aura that she pays attention to. It's commanding, beautiful, and she finds herself holding her breath partway through the performance, only to smile when the tempo picks up.

Probably the most beautiful thing is how passionate he looks as he plays though. She doesn't know if it's because he's playing for her or if he genuinely enjoys playing, or if she's just imagining it. She's pretty sure she loves whatever he just did though. ]

That was amazing, Sei.

I haven't played in some time.

[ Still, it actually feels nice to be complimented by someone you love. Akashi is appreciated by everyone, but it means more when it's from Emerald. It means he was able to please her. He's doing something right. ]

I'm glad, though, that you liked it.

[unhappy]

I liked it. I don't really know how to compliment it [ since she doesn't really know much about music ] but I liked the part where it really sped up. That must've been hard to learn.

[glorifies]

[ There's no easy or difficult, though. Akashi had to learn it whether he likes it or not. ]

It took a lot of practice.

[ He sets the violin on the coffee table and sits on the couch again next to her. ]
