Akashi finds that he likes doing all sorts of things with Mayuzumi, and for that brief few seconds they spend tying the knot, he finds himself wondering what other small things they can do together. Mayuzumi's presence is comforting. Akashi may act like he's on top of everything, but he feels like he still needs guidanceβhe needs to rely on somebody who's a good role model. Mayuzumi fits that description.
Once he lowers his hand though, his fingers have woven themselves into Mayuzumi's. Hm. ]
