[ She said she'll make out with him, so it would be weird if she pulled away. Besides, he doesn't want her to be an inch apart from him right now, anyway. It works out. Kissing her definitely relaxes him, so this is helping him in so many ways compared to how he was earlier. He's smiling against her when he kisses her- slow and soft and romantic. They don't have to get wild or anything now. He's fine with slow kisses because they're with her. ]

[ She ends up resting her hands on either of his sides and closing her eyes. SHe's just going to kiss him until he complains that he needs to breathe because it's time to cling to him. She almost lost him, she doesn't want to let him go. ]

[ They would be surrounded by red lights right now if they were still in Empatheias. Emerald wouldn't be able to hear anything but Akashi at this time, too. Akashi does pull away for a split second because he remembers he needs to breathe, but his lips are back on Emerald again as soon as he's inhaled some air. He doesn't plan on touching her or anything unless Emerald initiates it. The electrifying feeling he's getting just from kissing her is insane and so, so satisfying.

Who is he kidding? He pulls Emerald closer to him because he can't get enough of her. ]

[ Emerald keeps kissing him. She doesn't intend on touching him right now, and once she finally seems to either get her fill, she rests her head on his shoulder to catch her breath, arms looped around his side.

She missed him too much, but she doesn't really want to do anything sexual right now. She just wants to hold onto him. This world may want physical things, but right now Emerald needs emotional care. ]

I missed you. I don't think you even realize how much... The second I remembered you, it was like my entire world had been ripped away.

[ She doesn't sound upset though. Her world is back now, and she doesn't intend on letting it go again. ]

[ Akashi actually needs a moment before properly responding. ]

It shouldn't have happened.

[ That they became separated. Apart from knowing how much Emerald needs him, he needs her, too. He doesn't want to tell Emerald just how upset he was when he couldn't find her here. He also doesn't say anything else that's happened between him and Mayuzumi for now. Right now, all he wants to do is give Emerald the attention she deserves. ]

But I'm here now. You don't have to miss me anymore.

[ He lifts his hand so he can stroke her hair. It's a calming and soothing gesture, because he can't really calm her down and comfort her with Dunamis anymore. ]

[ It's okay that he can't use dunamis right now. After all, he's here. Mayuzumi's here. The hand on her hair is more than enough. She closes her eyes to just quietly enjoy it for a moment. ]

I guess this is what they call a "miracle," huh?

I suppose.

[ Or maybe Piphron granted them a wish or something. He doesn't know how this is all happening, but whatever higher powers did it? Thank you. ]

We'll need to start moving if we want to buy food.

Okay. Carry me to a restaurant.

[ She can only manage to look serious for about three seconds before she cracks a smile. She's joking. ]

I would if you really wanted me to, although we would have to take breaks.

That's sweet but I think I'd rather walk, that'd be kind of embarrassing.

Are you sure? This is a limited time offer.

Yeah, I'm going to walk with my hands in your pockets instead.

[ She will be the worst obstruction. ]

I can't walk that way.

[ Although... speaking of going out. . . ]

It doesn't have to be right away, but let me take you out on a real date some time.

Sure you can. I'll walk behind you with my hands in your front pockets. We'll have to walk slowly, but we can do it.

[ She smiles softly and nods. ]

I'd like that. We usually go to grocery stores or breakfast, I don't think we've really had a formal date yet, have we?

I don't think so.

[ Their relationship is... pretty weird. They definitely aren't following any standards. ]

Give me some time to plan. I'll make sure it will be a memorable first date.

Anything's going to be memorable because it's with you, you know?

[ She presses a kiss to his jawline, as if to show she means it. ]

[ He knows. He remembers every day they've spent together. Every time they're together, it's memorable. She deserves the best, though, that's why it has to be carefully planned out with no room for mistakes. ]

I want to be able to give you something that will make you feel so giddy that you can't stop thinking about it even after years to come.

Something like that magic carpet ride from the story you told me before?

[ She's joking. but she really does find it romantic and cute and she's sure he'll find a way. ]

You don't need a magic carpet. [ She smiles though, letting out a little laugh. He's so adorable?? ]

[ She's changed what she wants multiple times already, is he really surprised she wants to cook now?
