You don't have to do that either, but I'm okay with the milk. Why don't we just go at the same time? It feels crappy when I say I can do something better than you and you immediately get competitive and lie to my face about it.

[ Stop making everything into a competition Akashi. You can say it wasn't all you want, but you're pretty obvious. ]

No, I'm flat-out guilting you because I'm not competing with you over my bed time. I don't actually care that much because it is what it is, but I do care that you're trying to... I don't know, exert dominance over my bedtime.

[ You don't have to be better at everything Akashi! That's not a competition! ]

[ ... He can stay up late, though. He knows he can. But it doesn't seem like continuing to argue will win him anything, so he'll just let it go. ]

Then we won't compete.

[ She finally moves, this time to swing her legs over his so she's kind of half-sitting on him so she can face him on the couch. She rests her head against the couch. ]

I miss you taking care of me. Is that weird?

[ Akashi doesn't seem to think so. He's weird, after all. ]

If we buy stuff tonight, you buy milk and I'll buy tofu, okay?

[ What happened to green pizza? Who knows. She wants to stuff her boyfriend with tofu right now though because even in his weird competitiveness, he wanted to take care of her. ]

What about the pizza?

[ He'll remind her about it, in case she forgot. He wants to get her what she likes!! ]

I need tofu to make it, we'll just get a bunch. You'll eat it eventually anyway.

[ He's a tofu nut.. ]

Give me a kiss so we can have extra money to pay for our food, then.

[ He thinks he has enough for groceries for the day, but he wants to kiss her, too. ]

[ She moves, this time sitting up properly and moving to straddle his legs rather than have both of hers over them. ]

I'm going to make out with you so we can afford dessert too, okay?

[ She's pretty sure it's obvious to both of them that she just wants to make out with him. ]

[ Like clockwork, his hands rest on her waist. He likes touching her a lot, even if it's just like this. He can already feel that this is different from how they usually do it. The Chroma he can feel in his fingers makes it feel so much better. It's making him excited. ]

I'll buy you anything you want.

[ Emerald can't help but stare at him, her lips looking like she's trying to hold back a laugh. Instead of kissing him, she lets her forehead fall on his shoulder so she can giggle for a moment. ]

You sound like you're trying to be my sugar daddy!

[ Ah... It wasn't how he wanted to sound like?? He looks away now, embarrassed, but he doesn't pull away from Emerald. ]

I'm your boyfriend, not your "sugar daddy". It's only natural to give you what you want.

Mm.. but I only want you and Chihiro.

[ She kisses his neck where she is, savoring the feeling of his skin and the chroma flowing where her lips meet it. ]

[glorifies]

[ He tenses when Emerald kisses his neck, but he at least relaxes a few seconds later. His hold on her may have tightened a bit, though. ]

E- Emerald— [ He would have liked a warning, that's all. ]

What? Did you like that?

[ She only stops for a couple of seconds before she starts kissing him in the same spot, a little more enthusiastically this time-- just she really likes how he's holding onto her so tightly. ]

No, don't—

[ She does it again and this time, he moves away, craning his neck to the side. ]

Not there.

[ It's been a year or so, but getting bitten on the neck still terrifies him to this day. Emerald mentioning it earlier was a huge reminder of it, too. ]

[ She stops the second he says no, retreating and looking both concerned and apologetic. ]

Sorry.

[ He shakes his head. It's not her fault. ]

No, I'm sorry. [ He takes a deep breath to steel himself. ] Try again. If I get used to you kissing me there, then maybe I won't be so scared.

Are you sure?

[ She's moving a little higher to go for his ear while she waits for a response. ]

[glorifies]

If it's you, I'm sure.

[ So... it's okay. He'll get used to it He'll force himself if he has to, because he wants to be as intimate as possible with Emerald. He doesn't want to deny her of anything. And maybe he'll feel good about it too, once he's gotten over the whole neck thing. ]

Okay. I'm only going to kiss.

[ No biting. No sucking. Nothing rough or painful in the slightest. She trails get lips down from his ear and back down his neck again, slowly pressing soft kisses to his skin. They can try a little at a time just to prove that it's okay. ]

[glorifies]

[ It's still nerve-wracking, even if he said it was okay. It definitely won't go away immediately, but he at least tries not to tense up so much when Emerald kisses him on the neck again. As if to tell her he seems to be doing fine, he draws slow circles on her waist with his thumbs. Every so often, his breath hitches, but he's okay. ]

[ She knows it won't go away right away. God knows she has a million things she wishes she could stop feeling just because she willed it so, but there are some things she knows get a little easier with practice.

She only goes for a few moments, then pulls back to check on him. ]
