[If someone told him that Akashi ever stuttered before, Kise wouldn't believe them. But he heard it. Right here, right now, and Kise's own legs are feeling a tad bit weak. A bit from that stutter, a bit from the voice it was said in, and a bit from the way it trailed off. A tingle crawls up his neck and Kise can't pinpoint what spurred it on.
And no, he can't hear how fast Akashi's heart is beating, and maybe it's for the best because now his own is matching it; he doesn't need extra senses to feel that atmosphere shifted a bit. He's not sure what miracle out there is allowing him to keep whatever composure he has from just turning this dance posture into a proper embrace.
Akashi speaking again makes him refocus-]

Kise's hands somehow feel a lot warmer, which is far too distracting. The red lop bunny ears atop his head twitch a little as he opens his eyes, unsuccessful in being able to find a calm place.
Akashi's not panicking outwardly, at least. That's something he only does when he really can't control his emotions. He's still got a hold on them at this time, but the longer this song goes and the longer Kise holds him like this? He's not even sure anymore... (Somehow, he thanks the moons that Kise's not Cordis because boy, those pheromones would drive him wild.) ]

[The only thing that crosses Kise's head when Akashi closes his eyes is that he looks really pretty like this. Calm. It makes Kise smile and he has to fight the urge to pull him even closer against himself. He was told to behave and this would be crossing the line. So his fingers flex on the back of Akashi's shirt, as Kise wills them to stay still, leading the dance slowly across the floor.]

He doesn't do it the moment Akashi suggests but waits for the part of the song that would be appropriate for it. He's not sure how elegant he'll manage to look doing it, but he knows for sure he won't drop him, sanguis strength won't let him, Akashi already feels like a feather to him.
When the music starts slowing down to finish the song is the moment Kise uses to follow through with the suggestion- one hand firmly wrapped around Akashi's waist, the other holding his palm firmly and arm tilted up, as he bends his knee to tilt them both down.

[He'd never let him slip! Please don't use that tone with him, he'll think he messed up! Well... until catches the glimpse of that bunny tail going wild. It effectively prevents Kise's wolf ears from flattening and his own tail to swish around in long strokes (he doesn't even notice this so he's not bothering to hide it).]
