[Miu tilts her head, sitting up and back to look at him properly]

Of course. Anything.

When I told you I met my father that night—rather, the night of the fog and the night I was bitten—I also saw my mother.

[ He grows quiet after that, just... just waiting to see what her reaction might be. If her reaction isn't so violent, he continues. ]

She was really angry to see me, as if she didn't want me to be her son anymore. I thought my world was going to end. I felt weak and insecure... [ Who knew he even knew what that word meant? ] That was when I got bitten. By her.

To this day, I'm not certain who it truly was, but now I know better that my mother wouldn't do something like that. It... It was still terrifying, though.

[blackwaterchild]

[She looks startled, but that's the extent of her reaction for that, waiting for him to continue.]

Seijuro-- I'm so sorry. [She's not angry that he didn't tell her, it must have been pretty terrifying after all, but she does wish he hadn't felt the need to keep it bottled up.

She reaches up to cup the side of his face, smoothing her thumb over his cheekbones.] Is there anything I can do...?

[glorifies]

[ Akashi's usually the type to know everything, but right now, he doesn't. He shrugs his shoulders casually before responding. ]

I'm not sure, but what I do know is that I will be able to forget it over time. [ How long it will take, who knows, but he's trying to be positive for her sake. ]

I'm sorry for hiding it from you; you were already worried for me then, and I didn't want to burden you all the more.

[blackwaterchild]

It's alright. [She smiles a little and leans down to kiss him briefly.] You don't have to tell me everything right away. I understand. But thank you for telling me now.

[She can think of a few things to get his mind off of it, but, uh. She'll refrain. She'll be good for now. Maybe.

Though, speaking of getting bitten-- She turns Akashi's head slightly to look at his neck]

No more vampire scares?

[glorifies]

I'm not-- [ He's not scared, he wants to say, but he doesn't. Even someone like him has fears! He's not perfect and he knows it. ]

... I still have nightmares from time to time.

[blackwaterchild]

[A noise of understanding.] Yeah, I understand nightmares.

It helps, sometimes, if you sleep next to people. Maybe you'll have good dreams tonight.

[glorifies]

Ah-- I was thinking that you would sleep on the bed and I on the couch-- [ He trails off as he fixes his thoughts. He may also be blushing a little. ] Not that I would mind, of course.

We shared a bed before. What's the difference now? [The difference is that Akashi isn't suffering from a high fever and all this time...]

I don't mind if you don't mind. But... Can I borrow one of your shirts?

[glorifies]

I suppose there isn't... I don't mind, and yes, you can borrow a shirt of mine.

[ Just. Just don't undress in front of him!! Even though... that would be nice. ]

[Unfortunately, the thought doesn't even cross her mind. But she reluctantly slides off of him]

Okay. I'll go grab something and get comfortable then.

[and away she goes!! She steals whatever shirt seems comfiest and like he won't mind her sleeping in (she judges some of these shirts a lil bit tho. Just a lil bit), and changes into it, leaving her clothes neatly folded.

When she appears in the doorway of his bedroom again, leaning against it with her hands folded behind her back to hide the nervous way she grips them, it's clear the shirt is long enough to cover her...and short enough to make it clear she's definitely not wearing pants or shorts or anything like that underneath it.]

Soo... You coming to bed? We don't really have to sleep right away. [But it'd be nice to lay down and relax]

[glorifies]

[ Akashi had gotten up to get a glass of water to put by his nightstand once he goes back in his room, so he's checking Miu out from a different angle once she's out.

She has nice legs. What would it be like if he touched the—no...........

And Akashi has to look back up and look her in the eye, totally composed. God. ]

Ah.

[ So cool. He's just gonna walk into the room without saying anything more about it so he can put his glass of water by the nightstand. ]

If only we had a television set, then we could watch some movies.

[She watches him looking, smiling to herself, pleased. Her modeling days may be more or less behind her, but it's nice to be desired and oogled like that.

She steps back to let him pass, before following after.]

What kind of movies do you normally watch? [She sees him as more the documentary watching type, honestly...]

[glorifies]

[ He takes a seat on one side of the bed and picks up the book he was reading previously. He closes it and puts it on his nightstand so his attention is full on Miu. ]

Historical dramas. I find them very enjoyable.

What about you?

[blackwaterchild]

[She takes a seat as well, his shirt riding up high on her thighs as she does.] I did a couple historical tv shows before. They were fun, and I always had to learn little things for the sake of accuracy.

[It was fun! Not a lot stuck, but it was fun for the shows.]

I don't really have a favorite, but... I like mystery, I guess. Or horror. [She smiles a little, because someone like her liking ghost stories and horror might be either too obvious or really strange.] But good horror--the kind that makes you think. Not just blood and gore.

[She leans towards him, just a little, her smile coy] But I won't say no to a good romance either.

[glorifies]

[ Miu... he's a boy... and he's been decent but he might not be able to control himself if you show him more skin!!! He's more composed now than earlier, though, and the look he passes her legs may be more subtle now than earlier.

He leans back in bed after fluffing his pillow, offering the other one (which he normally hugs to sleep) to Miu. ]

I might not look that good on the movie screen, Miu-san.

[She's going to slowly kill him and it'll be the least he deserves after his numerous failures at recognizing her subtle and not-so-subtle 'hey make out with me' cues, okay.

As soon as Akashi seems nice and comfortable, Miu wastes no time in sliding up next to him, setting the pillow down beside his.]

Is that a joke? [She raises an eyebrow and then shakes her head] I wouldn't want you on the big screen anyhow. I want to keep you all to myself. [She smiles though, mostly just playing around--Mostly.] You'd be a star in an instant for your looks alone.

[glorifies]

[ He shifts so he can put his arm under Miu and another over her, hugging her like a pillow. He rests his head by the crook of her neck. And maybe, just maybe, he's slightly more clingy tonight, but he felt threatened earlier that he might lose her. ]

You say that, but I can't say the same when you have so many admirers here. [ He's only half-serious. ] It's unfair.

[blackwaterchild]

[She doesn't mind the clinginess at all she welcomes it, in fact, bringing a hand up to pet his hair, fingers trailing through it.]

Ah, that's true though... But you can be a lot scarier than I can. So you don't have to worry about anyone trying anything. I don't think I could scare anyone if I tried.

[...Well. Not without dragging up their deepest darkest secrets to use against them BUT THAT'S BESIDES THE POINT.

She tilts her head a little to glance down at him, curious] Does it bother you?

[glorifies]

I'm not worried, [ he says, then he presses a light kiss on her neck. ] It just makes me want to be with you all the time, so people can see that you belong to me.

[ AKASHI IS REALLY POSSESSIVE. Miu will end up with hickeys everywhere once Akashi knows how to... make them... ]

[There's a soft gasp followed by a noise of approval and she shivers a little.]

G-good. [She mentally curses herself for her stammer, feeling her face turn red because of it.] Belong to you, huh...? [She thought such a thing might have annoyed her, and maybe once upon a time it would have. but with Akashi... She really doesn't fnd she minds. It's a strangely nice feeling that goes up there with being desired by someone she actually wants to be desired by.]

Hmm, yep. I'm yours'. And you're mine. [She slides her hand down to cup his face and urge him to look up so she can bend her head to kiss him.] I'll make sure no one forgets it.

[glorifies]

I'm sorry for being so bold.

[ But he doesn't look the part...!! He even kisses her back, a bit more playful this time because he nips playfully at her lower lip when he pulls away. ]

I like you far too much to be able to be willing to share.

[ Unless it's with Kuroko or Midorima, apparently. ]

Hmm, no, don’t apologize. I like it. [She’s not sure if the boldness he’s talking about was the kiss on her neck or his talk about her belonging to him or something, but either way she likes it so her point still stands.

Because she can be bold too, you know?

She smooths her hand down his shoulder and his arm to take his hand and places it on her thigh, a little below the hem of his shirt, her voice lowered in suggestion] And since I’m yours’, that means you can touch me pretty much all you want, you know? You don’t have to keep it at just looking. [Because she totally saw him looking. Then she angles her head to kiss him again.

RIP Akashi.]

[ He's quick to grow tense when he's touched and his hands immediately go up to her waist as if touching her skin is like touching fire. When she kisses him, though, he relaxes and kisses her back. It takes a few seconds before his hands very slowly work their way downwards back to her thigh to actually make contact with her skin. His hand is warm and his touch gentle, not overly into it just yet because he's still not sure if this is the right thing to do. She may have given him permission, but he doesn't want to do it too much, you know? ]

[She knows they won’t get to go too much further than this sort of thing—she doubts Akashi has condoms lying around right now “just in case,” and she certainly doesn’t have any—but for now, this is just fine. It’s careful and slow, but this level of caution is just so him that she can’t bring herself to mind.

Miu makes an encouraging noise when his hand touches her skin at last, her tongue pressing lightly against his mouth to coax him into opening up.

After spending most of the past few days anxious about others leaving and never seeing them again, this is the sort of closeness and release she needed. This reassurance that he was here and real</> and she didn’t have to worry about him disappearing any time soon.]
